About Us

Maroela is a game farm owned and loved by the Basson family, in the Loskop Valley near Groblersdal, Limpopo SA.

Operated by a qualified Nature Conservationist, Michael Basson.

A variety of game grazes Maroela, consisting of Giraffe, Eland, Oryx, Kudu, Nyala, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Hartebeest, Ostrich, Warthog, and our occasional Leopards.

We have added a restaurant, Maroela Pub & Grill to complete our beautiful lodge. We cater for everyone! We are happy to host private functions and conferences such as birthdays, weddings, meetings and other gatherings.

Buffet every Sunday. Book to avoid disappointments but walk-ins are welcome.

Boma & Outside seating with our beautiful Maroela tree. Interesting fact, the whole restaurant has been built according to this tree’s position as this tree has a special place in our hearts.

Our venue hall can accommodate +/- 220 guests.

We host the following: Weddings, Private Functions, Live Shows, Birthday Parties, Yearend Functions and Conferences.

Equipped with an indoor bar and a fully functional outdoor bar close to the dancefloor.

Guest are welcome to use their own décor upon booking. Alternatively

décor can be rented at Maroela Pub & Grill.

The Venue has men’s & ladies toilets inside, and men’s & ladies ablution block @ the outdoor bar.

Sound system can be hired at an additional cost.
